Things you need to know to watch FFCS

  • Free Fire is the most-played Battle Royale Game currently on mobile devices.
  • There is only one goal for all those competing in the game: stay alive!

Since our release in 2017, the mobile battle royale game Free Fire found major success. It even became the most-downloaded game in the world in 2019 and still boasts over 100 million players who log in everyday to the game.

What is Free Fire and how it's played?

Free Fire is the ultimate survival shooter game available on mobile. Each 10-minute game places players on a remote island where 50 players are all seeking survival. Players freely choose their starting point with their parachute, and aim to stay in the safe zone for as long as possible. Drive vehicles to explore the vast map, hide in wild, or become invisible by proning under grass or rifts. Ambush, snipe, survive, there is only one goal: to survive and answer the call of duty.

How to decide who will be the champion?

Players will be ranked on points assigned for their placements and kill counts at the end of each Round. There will be a total of 6 maps being played each day. The final rankings will be determined by the total points earned over 6 rounds. The map rotation shall be:

Bermuda > Purgatory > Kalahari > Bermuda > Purgatory > Kalahari

When and where will FFCS take place?

After a triumphant comeback in the final round, team Corinthians was crowned the victor of 2019's Free Fire World Series. The event took place over the weekend at the Barra Olympic Park in Rio de Janeiro.

In 2020, due to COVID-19, we will hold the first fully-virtual tournament FFCS to replace the world series. The Play-Ins will take place on either 21 or 22 November, and the Grand Finals on either 28 or 29 November.
