Free Fire India Championship 2021 Fall: Format & Schedule

After a thrilling experience with Free Fire City Open, we want to let our fans know that plans for the next big Free Fire Esports event are already in motion. Now, we have our eyes fixated on the FFIC 2021 Fall. While Free Fire City Open had an interesting format to feature our young esport talents in India, Free Fire India Championship will work further to provide the Indian Free Fire rosters a greater platform to showcase their skills and offer them a chance to international stardom. Here we will talk about major details about FFIC Fall 2021 including its format and schedule.

Schedule and Format

FFIC 2021 Fall will commence with the FFC Mode, which is an open-to-all online qualifiers round. There will be no limit to the number of teams that can register for this stage. However, only the 42 top-performing teams from the FFC Qualifiers will be able to proceed to the Closed Qualifiers Stage. The FFC Matchday will take place on 23rd August from 16:00 IST to 20:00 IST.

Joining these 42 highly skilled teams in the Closed Qualifiers will be some familiar names from FFPL 2021 Summer who ranked 7th to 12th in the Free Fire Pro League Grand Finals. These 48 teams will be divided in further groups from where the top 12 teams will directly qualify for the League Stage via group clashes.

Joining these 12 teams at the FFIC League Stage will be our top six teams from FFPL 2021 Grand Finals. The League Stage will be conducted in a round-robin format where 18 teams will be divided in 3 groups and face each other over the course of 9 league days that will last for three weeks - 17th September to 3rd October

Top 2 teams from each group will directly qualify for the Grand Finals of FFIC 2021 Fall. The remaining teams ranking from 3rd to 6th from each group will get another shot to qualify, as the 12 remaining teams will take on once again in the FFIC 2021 Fall Play-Ins. The top 6 teams on the Play-Ins final leaderboard will qualify for the grand finals. Play-Ins will take place on 10th October. The Grand Finals is scheduled for 17th October where we will crown our champions.

Prize Pool

Just like our previous edition, this time as well, the Free Fire India Championship 2021 Fall will be featuring a whopping prize pool of INR 75 Lacs where the winner takes home the lion’s share of INR 35 Lacs. The runner up will claim a handsome reward of INR 15 Lacs. Apart from prize money, all the participants from the FFIC 2021 Fall  Grand Finals will directly qualify for the FFPL 2021 Winter.
