Free Fire India Championship 2021 Spring Week 1 MVP: Survivor 4AM

After an impressive start to the Free Fire India Championship, Survivor 4AM has established itself to be a top side in the competition. With three Booyahs to their name along with an impressive tally of kill points, the team has proven that they are one of the favorites to go all the way. We speak to the team’s IGL, Pranay Chourasia aka SRV-Golden to see what he makes of the team’s performance and how they are looking to capitalize on a strong start.

Hi Golden, Congratulations on a great performance in week 1 of FFIC. Please introduce yourself to our readers.

Hello, I am SRV-GOLDEN. IGL of Team Survivor 4AM.

What were your expectations going into week 1 and how do you think the team performed as per your preparations?

We always focused to improve our skills to achieve good points in every single match. In the previous matches, we did not perform as expected and now we are working on this to get better results.

The team currently sits on top of group C and also bagged 3 Booyahs. You were also the team with the highest points in week 1. What do you think went right for the team?

We were able to hold our consistent form. I think that's the main reason why the results went our way.

Other than 4AM, which team’s performance impressed you the most and why?

All the teams are very good and well-known names. I will not take any particular team’s name since all of them are very good in their respective areas.

Which has been the strongest map for the team and why do you feel you have an advantage on that particular map?

We have followed different strategies in all three maps. But the Kalahari map is our favorite one as there is a top view advantage for snipers.

The team also had the highest kills in week 1. What is the team’s thought process behind going for kill points and taking good fights?

Now kill points are one of the most vital factors to improve your position in the group table. So we always try to engage in good fights without losing our squadmate.

Going into weeks 2 and 3, teams will obviously be targeting you since you have established yourselves as a top team. What will your approach be in the coming weeks?

We are ready to take on challenges. Try to dominate other teams with firepower. We will try to avoid risky fights in open areas.

What is the team’s practice schedule like and what are you hoping to achieve by the end of the league stage?

We will try to complete the league stage and finish first. We are practicing on a daily basis and are also trying to implement new strategies.

Week 2 of the Free Fire India Championship commences on February 26. Tune in to the Free Fire Esports India YouTube channel at 6:00 PM IST to follow the action.
